webtne

An AI receptionist that answers every call to your business, day or night, and tells you what was said.

the receptionist

Every call answered.

It picks up on the first ring, day or night. It books the appointment, answers the questions you keep repeating, and leaves you the summary before you have finished your coffee.

It handles on its own

  • Booking, moving, and cancelling appointments
  • Opening hours, address, and parking
  • Prices, exactly as you wrote them
  • Whether you cover a postcode
  • Messages, read back to confirm
  • Evenings, weekends, bank holidays

It passes to you when

  • The caller is upset, or complaining
  • The question is outside its script
  • They ask for a person
  • It is unsure, rather than guessing
Around the clock

we also build the site

A site that answers too.

Most small business sites are a brochure nobody asked for. Yours is built to answer what people currently ring up to ask, and to make ringing easy when they still want to.

Quick

Loads fast on a phone, on a bad connection, in a van outside a job.

Yours to edit

Change prices, hours, and wording without raising a ticket or waiting on us.

Findable

Titles, descriptions, and map listings set up once, and set up properly.

and the advice

Where AI actually helps.

We start with your week rather than with a tool we already wanted to sell you. Half a day watching how work really moves through your business beats any product demo.

What we look for

  • The same question answered over and over
  • Anything retyped from one place to another
  • Jobs waiting on one person being free

What you get

  • A written map of where the hours go
  • Two or three fixes, in order of payback
  • Them set up, with you at the keyboard

If a spreadsheet and one phone call would fix it, that is what we will tell you.

the demo is a phone call

Hear it for yourself.

Ring the number and our receptionist picks up. Ask it something awkward and judge it the way your customers will.

What is a missed call costing you?

These are your numbers rather than ours. Move the sliders and see what walks away while the phone rings out.

walking away each year

£39,000

Lost customers a month13

An estimate built from the figures you entered. It assumes a missed caller does not ring back, which is what most of them do.

Stop missing them
the receptionist

What happens when someone rings.

Four seconds from ring to useful. This is the whole path a caller takes.

01

It answers

On the first or second ring, in your greeting, with your business name. There is no hold music and no menu to press through.

02

It listens

The caller talks normally. They can interrupt, change their mind, ramble, or ask three things at once, and it keeps up.

03

It acts

It books the slot, quotes the price you set, gives directions, or takes a message, within the limits you gave it.

04

It reports

You get the recording, the transcript, and a two-line summary of what was agreed, before you have finished your coffee.

pricing

What it costs.

A one-off fee to set it up around your business, then a monthly fee based on how many calls it takes. No lock-in, and you can point your number back at any time.

setup

£395

one off

Writing the script with you, recording the greeting, connecting your number, wiring up your calendar, and testing it against your real questions.

the line

£89

per month, 100 calls included

The number, the receptionist, call summaries, recordings, and calendar booking. Busier months are 50p a call after the first hundred.

website

£950

from

A site built around the phone call, which you can edit yourself afterwards. Optional, and priced separately.

At £89 a month the line costs less than a third of one average job. If it saves you a single booking you would otherwise have missed, it has paid for itself twice over. The calculator above is the honest way to check whether that maths works for your business.

process

Four steps to live.

You will know exactly what you are agreeing to before you agree to it, and most of the work sits with us.

  1. 01

    A call

Twenty minutes. You describe how enquiries reach you now, and what keeps slipping through.

  2. 02

    A plan

We write down what the AI should say, what it must never say, and the moment it hands over to you.

  3. 03

    Build

We set up the number, the voice, and the site, then test it against the questions you really get asked.

  4. 04

    Live, then tuned

It goes live. We listen to the first real calls with you and tighten the answers.

included

What you actually get.

the line

A real phone number

Local or freephone. Forward your existing number to it, or run it alongside while you test.

the line

Call summaries

Who rang, what they wanted, and what was promised, with you the moment the call ends.

the line

Booking into your calendar

It offers only the slots you are genuinely free for, then writes the appointment in.

the line

Recordings and transcripts

Every call kept, so you can check exactly what was said if a customer remembers it differently.

website

A site built around the call

Your number stays within reach, and the pages answer what people phone up to ask.

website

You can edit it

Change prices, hours, and wording yourself, without raising a ticket or waiting on us.

the other two things

While we are in there.

The receptionist is what we do best. These two come up often enough with the same clients that it makes sense to offer them properly.

Websites that earn their keep

Most small business sites are a brochure nobody asked for. Yours is built to answer the questions people currently ring up to ask, and to make ringing easy when they still want to.

Where AI actually helps

We start with your week rather than with a tool we already wanted to sell you. Half a day watching how work really moves through your business is worth more than any product demo.

If a spreadsheet and one phone call would fix it, that is what we will tell you. We would rather lose the project than sell you a subscription you come to resent.

questions

The ones we always get.

Asked by nearly everyone on the first call, so they may as well be answered here.

Will it sound like a robot?

Callers are told they are speaking to an assistant, because pretending otherwise goes badly the moment it is discovered. What they tend to notice is that it answers immediately, speaks normally, and lets them interrupt. Most people finish the call without giving it another thought.

What if it cannot answer something?

It says so rather than inventing an answer, then does whatever you told it to do next: put the caller through to you, take a message and flag it as urgent, or offer a callback slot. You set that rule once during setup.

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes. Most people forward their current number to the new one, so nothing changes for anyone who already has your details. You can forward every call, only the ones you have not picked up within a few rings, or only those outside your hours.

What happens to calls I want to take myself?

You take them. A common setup is that your phone rings first and the receptionist only picks up if you have not answered within four rings. You are never cut out of your own line.

Which languages?

English is what we set up by default, and it can switch mid-call if a caller does. Other languages are usually possible, so ask about yours on the first call.

How long until it is live?

Usually within a week of the first conversation. Most of that week is spent waiting on you to confirm what it should say about prices and availability, because the technical setup is the quick part.

What does it cost?

Setup is a one off £395, and the line is £89 a month with a hundred calls included, then 50p a call beyond that. A website, if you want one, starts at £950 and is priced separately. The first conversation costs nothing, and you will hear the receptionist working on your own script before you are asked to commit to anything.

Is my callers' data safe?

Recordings and transcripts are kept so you can refer back to them, and they belong to you. Ask us to delete them and we will. If you handle anything sensitive on the phone, raise it on the first call and we will tell you honestly whether this is a good fit.

What if I want to stop?

You point your number back where it was and carry on as before. We do not hold your number, your recordings, or your website hostage. Ask us to hand the site over and we will.

get started

Call, and hear it answer.

The quickest way to judge an AI receptionist is to be a customer for two minutes. Ring the line, ask it something awkward, and listen to how it handles you.
